Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

This policy explains what information Dart Course (“we”, “this site”) collects when you read the courses, and how it is used. We don't ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address or payment details to read a lecture.

What stays in your browser

To remember your progress, we save a few small values in your browser's local storage: which lectures you marked complete, the last lecture you read, your light or dark theme, and your list filters. They never leave your device, we can't read them, and you can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which keeps the courses free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and can change that choice at any time from the privacy message on the site.

Embedded videos

Lecture videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may set cookies once you play a video; its use of data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Server logs and fonts

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and running. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Children

The courses are written for learners of all ages, but this site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the opt-out links above, and clear this site's local storage to reset your progress. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data held about you — to ask, leave a comment on our YouTube channel.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
